Hod Hefer – All the Certificates
  1. Quality Certificates

    Hod Hefer has certificates from authorities in Israel and abroad, which prove that the factory meets all the necessary criteria and is inspected by them regularly.

    A. Certificate of the EEC – from the European Common Market, which allows for export to those countries.
    B. Certificate of the USDA – certificates by the most demanding American authorities for export to the United States.
    C. Standard ISO 9001;2000 – the most advanced certificate of quality by the Israeli Standard Institute.
    D. Authorized supplier for the Ministry of Defense – Hod Hefer meets all of the exacting demands of the Ministry of Defense, and serves as one of its official suppliers.
    E. Producer’s license – the factory has a producer’s license from the Ministry of Health.
    F. Certificate of Authorization for export of poultry meat processing plant by the Veterinary Services and Animal Health – Hod Hefer meets all of the most severe demands of the Veterinary Services and is under their strict supervision.
    G. Certified exporter by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.


  2. Kashrut Certificates

    the factory is Kosher Le Mehadrin under the supervision of Rabbi David Yechiel Verner, the chief rabbi of the city of Hadera. Rabbi Verner gives, after strict inspection, three Kashrut certificates:

    A. Regular Kashrut for the whole year;
    B. Kashrut for Pesach (Passover);
    C. Kashrut Le Mehadrin;
    D. In addition, the factory has the special Kashrut necessary for export to the United States – “O.K.” – Organized Kashrus laboratories u.s.a .
